Marjorie Taylor Greene rants about âvaping gropingâ Lauren Boebert after censure vote
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene once again had harsh words for her colleague and former pal “vaping groping” Lauren Boebert.
Greene famously stood alongside Boebert to interrupt President Joe Biden’s 2022 State of the Union Address, but earlier this year in June called her colleague a “little b—h” on the House floor. The latest insult came on social media Thursday in a post attacking Texas congressman Chip Roy.
Greene’s unhinged rant also labeled Palestinian-American congresswoman Rashida Tlaib from Michigan a “terrorist.”
“You voted to kick me out of the freedom caucus, but keep CNN wannabe Ken Buck and vaping groping Lauren Boebert and you voted with the Democrats to protect Terrorist Tlaib,” she wrote to Roy on X. “You hate Trump, certified Biden’s election, and could care less about J6 defendants being persecuted.”
Greene was upset Roy had condemned remarks Tlaib has made about Israel’s war with Hamas, but still voted against a ” feckless resolution to censure Tlaib” supported by Greene.
While Greene and Boebert share a far right-wing political bent, the bombastic duo have split on some issues including the January appointment of former House speaker Kevin McCarthy, who was ousted last month. Greene’s ” vaping groping” barb refers to a humiliating September episode in a Denver theater where Boebert was caught on security video smoking from a vape pen and got handsy with a male friend during a live performance of “Beetlejuice.”
Unlike two-dozen other Republicans, Boebert unsuccessfully voted with Greene to censure Tlaib Wednesday.
